Winter Wonderland Wedding

It's full swing proposal season, but what about a winter wedding? It may be cold, and it may be unconventional, but it is guaranteed to be stunning and magical. From holiday weddings on Christmas or New Years Eve to snowy mountain getaway weddings, it's super simple to create a memorable, picture perfect wedding in the winter season.

No surprise here, but our favorite part of the wedding is the dress!! This Essense of Australia long sleeve dreamy lace dress fits a winter wedding perfectly in our opinion. It captures that romantic whimsical feeling so many winter weddings have and the moscato tulle stands out against the snow rather than blending right in.

Next big thing to create your perfect winter wedding? Venue. You can opt for a tent that displays the snowy landscape outside. What is a more beautiful decor than a soft white sheet of fresh snow as your backdrop? But maybe for the sake or warmth you go for a cozy lodge. What is more rustic chic than a mountain lodge in the winter time?

This may come as a surprise, but the winter flowers are some of the most beautiful especially when using darker colored flowers that contrast from the white backdrop so strikingly. These winter flowers are absolutely gorgeous and will make your bouquet extra special.

Now lets get into those nitty-gritty details. Winter time lends itself perfectly to the decor and details for a winter wedding.  Pine cones, evergreen sprigs, and holly are all beautiful natural accents to your ceremony, bouquet and reception tables. Colors like golds, browns and dark reds or green provide a warmer feel and look both luxurious and cozy. While cooler colors like silvers, greys and midnight blue are very striking and ethereal if that is the vibe you are going for.
